Did Peter Dutton win?
Did Peter Dutton win – After fending off a challenge from Labor’s Ali France, Defence Minister Peter Dutton has retained his Queensland seat of Dickson with over 53 percent in the 2022 election on May 21, and he could be the next Liberal leader.
Dutton spoke to his supporters, paying tribute to colleagues who were in risk of losing their seats, including Treasurer Josh Frydenberg, and describing the day as a “terrible day” for the Liberal Party.
Peter Craig Dutton is an Australian politician. He is a member of the Liberal Party and has served in the Morrison government as Minister for Defence and Leader of the House since March 2021.
