After getting a kidney transplant, Leo Mezie, 46, died on Saturday, May 14, 2022.

Mezie got another transplant last week, but complications developed and he died on Saturday.
What Happened To The Nollywood Actor?
Mezie’s death was confirmed by actress Chioma Toplis via Instagram on Monday, May 16, 2022.
Mezie died on Saturday in Abuja, according to Chioma, while recovering from a kidney transplant.
Chioma further stated that his body had been transported to his hometown of Umuahia for burial.
Mezie was born on January 25, 1976, and rose to prominence in 2003 with his appearance in the Nollywood blockbuster ‘Labista.’
