Cactus Moser Accident – Cactus Moser is a multi-instrumentalist, drummer, vocalist, writer, and producer.

Michael Scott Moser was born on May 3, 1957, in Montrose, Colorado, in the United States.

Cactus is a three-time Modern Drummer readers poll winner, four-time Country Music Association winner, and three-time Grammy candidate.

Moser, 64, has been a member of the very successful, Grammy-nominated band Highway 101 for more than 20 years.

Wynonna Judd is Cactus Moser’s wife.

Cactus Moser was critically injured in a motorcycle accident in Deadwood, South Dakota on August 18, 2012.

He crossed the center line and crashed with an oncoming car on U.S. Route 16 in the Black Hills.

Despite arriving at the hospital, the drummer nearly died the next day when he stopped breathing and had to undergo significant surgery on his left hand and leg, which had to be amputated above the knee.

Despite this, he persisted in working as a musician and record producer in the studio and on the road.
