What are the 7 children’s names in Sound of Music?
The Sound of Music is a musical based on Maria von Trapp’s biography The Trapp Family Singers, published in 1949.
The musical, set in Austria on the eve of the Anschluss in 1938, follows the story of Maria, a governess for a large family who is contemplating becoming a nun.
Maria gradually falls in love with the children and Captain von Trapp, their widower father. He is forced to accept a commission in the German navy, which he resists since he is anti-Nazi. He and Maria agree to take the children out of Austria.
