Texas Shooter Mother Interview – In an interview, the mother of the 18-year-old gunman accused of killing at least 19 students and injuring others at a Uvalde elementary school stated that her son was not a monster, but that he could be violent.

Throughout the conversation, Reyes emphasized her sorrow for the children who were slain and the parents who lost them, but she claimed she was unaware that her son was purchasing the guns.

“Those children… I don’t know what to say about those poor youngsters; I’m at a loss for words.” She cried as she stated this.
