Turbotax Login – Where is my refund from the IRS? The tool will not provide you a date until the IRS has received, processed, and approved your tax refund.

The time it takes the IRS to process your tax refund is determined by whether you e-filed or mailed your return.

• The easiest way to collect your federal tax refund is to e-file with direct deposit. If there are no difficulties, the IRS intends to issue nine out of ten tax refunds within 21 days of receipt.

• Mailed paper returns: To minimize refund delays this year, avoiding a paper return is more vital than ever. If you need your refund immediately, the IRS advises against filing on paper. The IRS expects more delays for paper returns as a result of COVID-19. The IRS usually recommends waiting four weeks before monitoring the status of your refund, and refund processing can take anywhere from six to eight weeks from the time the IRS receives your return, but paper returns are taking much longer.

To check your refund on TurboTax, Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the screen. Click on Tools.

Click on View Tax Summary. Click on Preview my 1040 on the left side of the screen.
